Hi, I'm Emily Egley.

For new patients and caregivers who feel overwhelmed, I help you regain clarity, confidence, and control.

Whether you've just received a new diagnosis or suddenly find yourself managing a loved one's care, the healthcare system can feel like a maze. Insurance fine print, confusing bills, and rushed doctor appointments can leave you frustrated and unsure where to turn.

Healthcare is complicated, and that's exactly why I started Healthcare Uncomplicated. I know how isolating and stressful it can feel to face medical bills, confusing insurance policies, or hurried doctor visits when all you want are clear answers.

My goal is to take the jargon out and explain what truly matters in plain English, so you have the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions and get back to living your life.

I know how important this work is because I've lived it in two ways.

For more than 17 years, I've managed my own chronic health conditions, navigating countless doctors, insurance battles, and treatments. And in 2017, my husband, Jarrod, was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. For seven years, I coordinated every detail of his care so he could focus not just on treatment, but on living life as fully as possible. He often said this was "my job," and he wanted me to keep doing for others what I had done for him.

Jarrod passed away in December 2023. Honoring his wish, and drawing on my own lived experience, is why I'm here today: to help patients and caregivers navigate the same challenges I faced, with clarity, compassion, and confidence.

You are probably here because you feel...
Frustrated
Overwhelmed
Uncertain
Doubtful
Guilty
Exhausted
My Credentials

Along with my personal experience, I am a Board-Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA). This certification affirms my ability to help patients and families navigate the complexities of healthcare with skill, clarity, and compassion.

Here's How I Can Help

I don't do the work for you, but I give you the shortcuts, tools, and guidance you need to:

Save time and reduce frustration
Make sense of your insurance and medical bills
Ask the right questions in doctor visits
Ensure you and your loved ones receive the care you deserve

Because time isn't something you can get back, and you shouldn't have to waste it fighting the system.

If you are reading this, and thinking "this is me", you don't have to figure it out alone.
